Absentee voter information
Absentee ballot applications can be obtained from the respective township clerk during their regular office hours. (Carla Martin, Peaine Township clerk, reports that absentee ballot applications are also available at the Station.)
The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail is 2:00 pm on May 5th. A person may vote an absentee ballot in person until 4:00 pm on May 7th. The deadline for emergency absentee voting is 4:00 pm on May 8th. Absentee ballots can be returned up until the close of polls on election day (May 8th).
